How Mavloom Affiliate Links Work: Ownership, Credit and Click-Outs

By Mavloom · Published and updated

Mavloom preserves the original promoter’s affiliate attribution on imported client links. A discovery can link to a promoter’s website or a store, which may then send you to a retailer. Any commission belongs to the qualifying linked promoter under the affiliate program’s terms—not automatically to every Mavloom user.

Credit and commission are different relationships

Publisher credit answers who supplied or shared the creative. An affiliate relationship explains whether a particular link can lead to commission for a promoter. Neither proves who manufactured the item, who sells it or who owns a member account. Read the visible publisher name and the destination rather than assuming these identities are interchangeable.

A Creator can share a non-affiliate link. A Business can be an affiliate website without selling the product itself. Mavloom’s disclosure identifies affiliate-related context; it does not establish that a purchase will qualify for payment or that a network has approved a particular publisher.

Follow the actual sequence of links

On a creative page, the original-site action uses the stored destination. In some cases this is the publisher’s own product page, not a direct retailer checkout. That site may contain its own retailer affiliate link. A separate View product details action opens the product record on Mavloom rather than placing an order.

Imported client affiliate destinations are preserved with the original attribution, without replacing the promoter’s link with Mavloom tracking ownership. This describes the handling of those imported links. It is not a blanket statement that every link on the internet, every member post or every future commercial arrangement has identical terms.

Who gets paid, and when?

The applicable affiliate network or retailer program determines eligibility, attribution and payment. A click alone does not guarantee commission, and a sale can be outside the program’s qualifying conditions. Mavloom does not promise network approval, earnings or that a specific transaction will be attributed successfully.

If you publish affiliate content, understand the terms that govern your own link and approved properties. Use accurate disclosure and avoid unsupported product claims. In the United States, FTC endorsement guidance explains that material connections should be disclosed clearly; other jurisdictions and program rules may impose different requirements. This article is orientation, not personalized legal advice.

Who handles the shopper’s order?

The selling retailer handles checkout, current price and availability, delivery, returns and purchase support. Mavloom has no checkout. A promoter’s website may help you discover an item while never processing or fulfilling your order. Verify the actual selling website before providing payment or personal details.

For a suspicious destination, misleading credit or an undisclosed relationship, use Report or Contact. If you need an order refund, contact the retailer responsible for the purchase. Distinguishing discovery, promotion and sale helps both shoppers and publishers ask the right party for help.

Questions about this workflow

Does saving a post generate a commission?

No commission is promised for saving or clicking. The program determines whether a later action qualifies.

Does publisher credit mean the publisher fulfills orders?

No. Credit identifies the source of the discovery; fulfillment belongs to the selling retailer.
