Mavloom for Businesses: Profiles, Products and Visual Discovery

By Mavloom · Published and updated

A Mavloom Business profile connects a website’s public products and creatives with the publisher behind them. The website may be an affiliate publisher, brand or store—not necessarily the retailer that fulfills an order. A profile is a catalog identity; claiming it requires authorization rather than simply creating a personal account.

What appears on a Business profile?

The public profile gives visitors a place to understand the website behind a discovery and browse its available public catalog. Products describe items; creatives present those items visually. Keeping a website identity attached to both helps people follow the source rather than confuse a campaign image with a different seller.

A profile can exist while unclaimed. That is not a fabricated account or an assertion that the business owner has signed in. Published catalog visibility and verified ownership are different states. Mavloom does not assign a person ownership merely because their name resembles a website or because content is public.

How do you start or claim a business?

Sign in with an account you control, open the Business portal and use the available application or claim workflow. Provide the genuine website and business information requested. Follow the identity and website-verification steps presented there. Do not use someone else’s email or claim a site you cannot represent.

One account can also have a Creator profile. Business authorization is not a mutually exclusive personal role. A Creator’s community post does not by itself approve a business catalog, and a public catalog does not by itself create a Creator profile for its operator.

Prepare products that match the creative

A product title should identify the item, rather than a broad slogan. Its original destination should be relevant to that item. Product images, creative artwork and alt text need appropriate rights and accurate descriptions. If five paint knives are shown, the linked product should not describe a kitchen knife or an unrelated bundle.

Keep supplied price and availability claims modest: the original store or selling retailer is the current authority. Do not call an affiliate publisher the seller merely because it promotes the product. Catalog authorization and licensing checks remain necessary; a complete-looking record is not proof of publication rights.

Make the click-out useful to the visitor

A shopper may first see a creative, then open its product and finally reach your website. Make that path coherent. Explain variants, intended use and any onward retailer link on your site. Clear attribution and relevant destinations matter more than repeating generic promotional adjectives.

Mavloom does not collect a buyer’s payment or handle deliveries and returns. An actual selling retailer does that work. There is no promise of impressions, indexing or sales from a profile; use the platform as a source-linked discovery presence and keep your own website and disclosures accurate.

Claiming checklist: prove control without transferring someone else’s profile

Before you start, locate the correct Business profile and compare its website with the site you actually control. Sign in, open the Business portal, confirm you are authorized to represent that business and start its verification. The portal provides a unique verification meta tag. Add that tag to the configured HTTPS homepage’s head, then use the verification check. A profile appearing in discovery is not proof that the claimant owns it.

Verification checks the configured homepage without following redirects. If your homepage redirects, use the supported correction or contact path instead of treating a redirect as proof. Keep the token on the correct site and never copy another business’s token. If the website or ownership changes during verification, completion must fail rather than attach your account to a stale claim.

Claiming establishes management identity; it does not waive image licensing or catalog publication requirements. If another person already controls the profile, do not create a duplicate claim to bypass them. Contact Mavloom with the profile reference. Public products may remain visible before a claim is completed because publication authorization and account ownership are separate decisions.

Questions about this workflow

Is every Business a selling retailer?

No. A Business can be an affiliate publisher, brand or store. The actual retailer handles the order.

Can I manage a Business and publish personal posts?

Yes, with the same account when you are authorized to manage that Business. Each workflow has its own checks.
