Mavloom for Affiliate Marketers: Visual Posts with Original Attribution
By Mavloom · Published and updated
Mavloom can give an affiliate publisher a visual discovery presence that connects creative posts to product context and the publisher’s original website. Existing imported affiliate destinations retain their attribution. It is an additional discovery surface, not an affiliate network, income guarantee or replacement for the publisher’s site.
Build a helpful path from artwork to explanation
Think of a creative as an introduction to a product, not a substitute for accurate information. A picture of palette knives can show their shape; a useful caption explains that they are painting tools and identifies the linked product. Avoid implying suitability for food use, professional performance or safety unless reliable product material supports it.
The destination should make sense for that specific discovery. A publisher’s product page can explain details before sending the visitor to a retailer. A generic home page or unrelated landing page makes the connection harder to follow. Credit should name the actual publisher, without presenting an affiliate website as the manufacturer.
Preserve attribution without promising payment
For imported client content, Mavloom preserves the original promoter’s affiliate link rather than substituting its own tracking attribution. Some creative destinations point to the promoter’s website instead of directly to a retailer; any later affiliate hop belongs to that site’s workflow. Do not assume every outbound URL contains affiliate tracking.
A qualifying purchase may earn the linked promoter a commission only under the applicable program’s rules. Mavloom cannot guarantee approval, cookie attribution, payment, conversion or earnings. Before publishing, understand your own network’s rules about approved properties, creative assets and how links may be used.
Prepare a useful publishing checklist
Identify the account or business you are authorized to represent. Confirm rights to the image and caption, use a specific product title, write meaningful image alt text and provide a relevant HTTPS destination. If a post is affiliate-related, mark it accordingly and keep a clear disclosure on the destination as well.
Do not copy a retailer’s ratings, claims or promotional deadline into artwork without a reliable basis and permission. A supplied price can change. Mention when details come from the publisher or product source; do not frame promotional copy as Mavloom testing. A small set of distinct, useful posts is better than near-identical repetitions.
Choose the actual participation path
A personal account can publish eligible community posts through the Creator workflow. A Business profile represents a website/catalog and uses the Business portal’s authorization or claim steps. Those are related but different paths; creating an account does not automatically import a catalog or transfer business ownership.
Low-risk eligible community posts can publish after rule-based checks, while flagged or failed assessments stay private for correction or review. Business catalog authorization remains separate. Treat discovery as a way for people to reach your work; never promise that each post will rank, receive traffic or bypass platform checks.
Publish an affiliate creative as a Creator: a concrete submission sequence
Use a verified account you control and complete your Creator profile first. Open New post and provide a specific title, substantive body, authorized public HTTPS image link, meaningful image alternative text and the relevant original-site destination. The current form uses image links; it is not an image-upload similarity search. Confirm your content rights and select the affiliate setting when the linked relationship is affiliate-related.
For example, a palette-knife post can identify the painting tools, explain that the description comes from the product source and link to the promoter’s exact product page. Do not paste unsupported ratings, call the promoter the manufacturer or remove the promoter’s tracking parameters. For your own link, check your affiliate program permits the property and use before posting; Mavloom cannot approve a network relationship on your behalf.
Submit once and read the returned result. Eligible low-risk content can publish automatically; pending content stays private with a reason. Edit and resubmit the existing post when correcting it instead of creating repeated copies. Changes to the caption, image or link need a new assessment; a prior approval is not permission for unrelated replacement content. The current limit is ten submissions or edits per rolling 24 hours, not unlimited instantaneous publication.
Questions about this workflow
Will Mavloom replace my imported affiliate tag?
Imported client affiliate destinations retain the original promoter’s attribution. That does not guarantee a commission.
Does an account automatically approve my affiliate program?
No. Program approval and permitted link use are determined by the third-party program.
